Coming from Punjabi families, Jeevan and Srgun brought deep cultural intention to their wedding celebrations, while their personal story reflected a modern sensibility. Jeevan is a lawyer and Srgun is a doctor, both grounded in purpose and discipline, yet their journey together began online. That same balance between tradition and modernity shaped not only how they met, but how they approached every detail of their celebrations.

Cultural traditions were honoured thoughtfully. Jeevan wore a sehra and arrived horseback on the wedding day, and Srgun was carried in an old-fashioned palki for her Vidaai.
At the same time, modern elements brought freshness and personality to the experience. Guests were welcomed with a coffee cart at the ceremony, the couple made a helicopter arrival to the reception venue, and even details like a seating chart reflected their contemporary approach.

Jewellery played a major role in bringing this look together. Srgun worked closely with Pardaze to style her wedding jewellery, ensuring it complemented the outfit rather than competing with it. Her gold and pink jewellery was curated from Her Fashion Vault in Surrey, British Columbia, and paired with gold chura bangles from Gehna Jewellers, a unique choice that moved away from the traditional red and felt deeply personal to her style.
Jeevan’s ceremony look was styled with the same level of thought. His cream sherwani featured delicate pink thread work embroidery that complemented Srgun’s outfit while still giving him a distinct look of his own. His jewellery was sourced from Paras in Surrey, British Columbia, and finished with a peacock-shaped kalgi worn in the morning that echoed the peacock motifs on Srgun’s lehenga. The connection was subtle, but intentional.
Reception Glam with a Modern Twist
The reception brought a refined, modern elegance to the weekend. Srgun wore a champagne and silver lehenga with a one-shoulder blouse and an attached veil, creating a sleek silhouette that felt contemporary and elevated.
Although the outfit leaned modern, she wanted her jewellery to retain a traditional element. She had always envisioned wearing a passa. When the right piece could not be found, Pardaze worked closely with the couple to style and customize the reception jewellery. A necklace from Paras in Surrey, British Columbia was modified by adding small white motiyan so it would pair seamlessly with the passa and the rest of the set. The result was a look that balanced modern fashion with traditional detail in a way that felt effortless.
Jeevan opted for a classic black tux, allowing the reception to feel timeless and polished while complementing Srgun’s look perfectly.
As they shared their first slow dance, Jeevan and Srgun looked ethereal in their reception looks, her champagne and silver lehenga catching the light while his classic black tux grounded the moment, all as white smoke drifted across the room like clouds and a live singer filled the space.
